Wii Gamecube game question

Just curious but why doesn't the wii keep track of how long you play gamecube games in the message boardWii Gamecube game question
I'm guessing because gamecube games never had that kind of featureWii Gamecube game question

I think it's because the Wii ''becomes'' a Gamecube when you put a GC disc on it :P
All the system on the Wii does is tell the user that it can read the code for a gamecube game. When you launch the title, the system intentionally turns off all Wii functionality in order to give the user a perfect gamecube experience. Only the Game Boy Advance cable accessory works on the Wii though, and so do most third party Gamecube controllers.

The Wii goes into GC mode when you put a GC disc in. Pretty much all of the Wii features turn off.
all the features turn off for the wii and it will transform into a gamecube

yea that must be true and it also sux b/c u cant even use the wii remote 2 jump back 2 the wii menu. you gotta reset :(
