I was very suprised because imo gamespot seems like a microsoft website
My reaction was that I was a little surprised, just becuase people usually go for the multiplayer, intense, realisticly gritty graphics, games. I own SMG, and love it alot, it's great playing and great looking. I think it was deserving of GOTY because of it's classical goodness. Just timeless, simple fun. That'll never get old.

Slightly surprised,considering how much competition there was this year.
Those awards were a huge joke anyways, so it didn't really matter.

When I heard that it won GOTY I was kinda shocked because I was pretty sure it would be Bioshock or something similar, but I am glad that it won GOTY as its an awesome game. :)
I was actually quite surprised, after hearing how many awards Bioshock received.

didn't deserve it, also in the best wii game catagory MOHH2 should ve taken the gold, it had everything!!mario...isn't badbut nothing special!...in any case some VC games should have had won in compairison!! (to SMG)
