should i get super smash brothers melee?

because brawl is coming out..i never had it and only played it in my friedns house..i had the n64one..the reason im asking this because the prices for melee is really high..if it was 10 bucsk sure i'd buy it but its still 50 bucks..so is it worth it?and can someone tell me where to get it cheap?(not ebay..)should i get super smash brothers melee?

It's a fun game and I'd suggest buying it, but I don't think you'd get a lot out of it since Brawl comes out next month. I know what you mean about the prices though...it's stupid that it's so high...

I got Melee back in 2001 when it released. I kept playing it till about 2005, then i stopped, and i started playing again around the end of 06, and i still play it. So if i have been playing the game for around 5 - 6 years, then yes, it i definitely a must buy. If you can find it for really cheap too.
Brawl isn't going to differ much from the formula Melee set up. There isn't much point in getting Melee now so you should just wait for Brawl.

I've been playing melee since i got it at gamecubes launch. However, since Brawl is around the corner i would recommend buying melee. Brawl looks like its improved on everything that melee has to offer, so id say just wait the extra month.
It's still $50 in your area? Huge pass, then. Wait for Brawl.

I've seen alot of Melees with the ''Player's Choice'' emblem. Where I am from, it is only $20. If I were you, I'd wait for Brawl. Melee will become obsolete once the mighty Brawl boasts more characters, stages, and Wifi.

if you like using mewtwo, falco and all the other characters they got rid of, then yeah get melee

Therefor, he does not need to use the sticky. Now, if the stick said Super Smash Bros, or Super Smash Bros Series, then you would need to post ALL smash bros related topics in there. But, it is only for Super Smash Bros Brawl.
I got mine for $30 at Target a few months ago. At this point, I don't recommend buying it because Brawl will probably improve upon Melee in just about every aspect.
Just save it for brawl.
dont listen to these people who are telling yout to buy it brawl is so close to release it would be a waste of money.The smash bros series isnt a game were you can go back to the previous instalment it wont be as good so let me ask you would you be able to go back and play smash 64 if you had melee?
