my 1 button on Super Mario 2

I started up my Wii today, and started playing Super Mario 2 on the Virtual Console. after about 20 seconds, I realized that I couldn't pick anything up. My 1 button was not working. I returned to the menu and started up Super Mario 3. I noticed that I was always running at full speed, and when i picked up a turtle shell, i could not throw it. Apparently my 1 button was stuck down. I switched controllers. Same thing. 1 button stuck down. I went into ''NEWS'' and read and article and used the 1 button to highlight things.Now I know that
1- My1 button is apparently stuck in the down position (even the it's not actually down)
2- This problem happens in my NES virtual console games.
3- The 1 button works in the news channel.
4- This is not my controller, as it happens on all controllersI restarted my Wii, and started Super Mario 3. HOORAY! it works again! I got into Super Mario 2, and it's back to being stuck again. I leave and go back to Super Matio 3. STUCK.5-I'm guessing Super Mario 2 is doing this..Has anyone else had a similar problem? Anyone know what's going on?thanksmy 1 button on Super Mario 2
Restart console, re-sync controllers, call Nintendo.my 1 button on Super Mario 2
Best sloution is to call Nintendo.
Your Gamecube controller is plugged in and laying so it's buttons are depressed.Unplug or move the controller and your problem will be fixed.
