Is it worth it

Im thinking of getting a Wii soon, im 17 and i like a fair chunk of action though i can get down with most games. Im especially looking forward to playing Metroid 3 if i do get it. Is the Wii worth it?Is it worth it
yes/threadIs it worth it
not that the wii isnt enough but I would recommend getting another console with the wii, you wont be sorry.
lovlely answer, and whats with all the wii games that look like they were made ten years ago like Warioware smooth moves
lovlely answer, and whats with all the wii games that look like they were made ten years ago like Warioware smooth moves
thats the style of the game

Obviously, on this forum, I would recommend it. But still, the Wii has a good number of fairly long games (Mario Galaxy, Metroid 3, etc.) and Brawl is coming around the corner which should take plenty of hours out of your life.
oh yes i loved smash brothers, the main problem going on with me is that i got the 360, but since we realised the tech problems, we would have to keep on paying to get it repaired. So I have two options, repair the 360, and keeping on having it to get repaired, or get the wii

look its better to get a wii that keep repairing an xbox 360, i mean if you like FPS, sure get a 360 because the only hit games it has are shooters, halo, GoW, mass effect (kinda), bioshock (all exclusives), but the wii has a variety of games that can be recommended because they are guarenteed to be good because are nintendo franchises, example: zelda, mario, metroid, etc. and there are more comming, mario kart, smash bros... etc. just look at MOHH2 thats a third party and if it can be that good just imagine whats coming next. so, but if you are a online fps mmo junky, the wii is not for you
THANK YOU, someone explained good and clearly unlike that other guy up there, and im curious what is the appeal with those really old games on the wii like wario ware
lovlely answer, and whats with all the wii games that look like they were made ten years ago like Warioware smooth moves
I own a wide range of games and consoles(I mean to say, I usually give any genre of game a fair chance) and overall, I think Wii has great entertainment value in comparison to most other systems. It's a fun experience almost every time and for $250, it's hard to pass up.Also, I don't own a time machine(would be a lot cooler if I did) but the games I played ten years ago were 16-64bit. Warioware has a cartoon-ish art style, but that's not to say it's graphics are bad by any stretch.
Also, Wii has good game 'type' variety. The popular games arn't always the same type of game (platformers, action, shooters ect.)Where as Xbox360 seems to be mostly FPS and PS3 seems to be action, hack n' slash.
yes, yes it is worth it.
No it's not worth itfor you. You should buy a PS3. That's worth it. Why would anyone want a motion sensing system that has sucky games like Mario Galaxy, Zelda:TP, Metroid Prime 3, Wii Sports, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, and all the Virtual Console games. Heck, your whole family, even your mom, will like it so that makes it even more not worth it. You should buy a PS3 or 360 because games with fancy graphics are what make a system ''worth it''. What will your friends think if you tell them you like to play games that are fun. Games aren't about fun, it's about leveling up and being slightly better than someone you don't know until you reach the level cap. Sorry, my intestinal worm made me say all that.
The way I see it, the Wii is not worth it. The only game I have enjoyed for the Wii thus far is Super Mario Galaxy. I have Zelda: Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy. While my selection of games for the Wii is very limited, I can't see a lot of good games coming out for the Wii, given its control scheme. The Wii isn't horrible, but I don't think it'll be too good in the long run.
My brother is exactly like you. in your game preferences and everything. weird aye? well anyway we both enjoy the wii a lot.
right now im leaning toward the wii, i mean, im not going to spend my money getting the 360 repaired over and over again.
