Is it worth buying SM64 on the VC...

If I already have the DS version? Also, is Paper Mario on the VC good? I never got a chance to play it, but I liked the second one.Is it worth buying SM64 on the VC...
I never played S. Mario 64 on the VC, but I can tell you that the DS version is much improved when compared to the original. Is it worth buying SM64 on the VC...
I think it is, the DS version is alot different than the nintendo 64 version, just make sure you have a Classic Controller.
if you can hook up the good old N64 and play it then no its not
The question is if you shouldn't buy Paper Mario. It's one of the greatest games of all time and a great deal for only $10.

Wanna finish it so I can pick up with Thousand Year Door on GC and then get Super Paper Mario! Woo hoo!

The Thousand Year Door is a great addition to the series, but no where near as good as the original. I never played SPM, but I heard it took a large step away from the formula. But why would you want to finish it? Don't you not want the fun to end?
The only way to get the proper Super Mario 64 experience is with the Nintendo 64 controller in your hands. Since the Wii does not have a control shaped like this, it is not worth it in my opinion.

If you alredy have the game for the N64, then no. If you haven't even played the game, I don't know what are you waiting for. It is one of the best games of all times.
Do not get it for the VC. The DS version is the same thing, but with some improvements: more stars and different players, as well as multiplayer and minigames, and the graphics are better. Don't get me wrong, SM64 is a defyning plataformer, but everything it was is contained in SM64 DS. And yeah, get Paper Mario if you liked The Thousand Year Door!! They are both awesome games! Also get Super Paper Mario, is not the same genre, but is really fun anyway :)
If you have it for the Nintendo 64 already, then don't get it. If you don't have it, though, then maybe. The DS is better in every aspect, aside from the controls. I liked the controls much better in Super Mario 64 to be honest, which is why I never bothered picking up the DS version. Sorry, but it's way too hard to control with the D Pad. If you're interested in using an analog stick to play it, then go for it. If not, then no.
