The ''Halo'' of Wii ?

Are we going to get any FPS or even TPS that compare to something like Halo 3 anytime soon? I just hate playing Halo 3 at friends houses on their 360s when i know the could be much better on the Wii. I'm aware of the graphical difference, and im not trashing either system i love Wii and the 360 is great, but i want something more, whats coming this year in terms of shooters on the Wii?ps. i know i shouldnt complain because ''why dont i just go buy a 360''. well im not trying to complain, i love my wii im just wondering about shooters for the wii because the potential is really there...The ''Halo'' of Wii ?

I know what you mean....Halo 3 gameplay + Medal of Honour Heroes 2 controls = Best FPS of all time.
If you want Halo or other FPS games, then you bought the wrong system. You'll never get a game like Halo on Wii because the online isn't near the quality as on 360.

Unless you take online into account, MP3 far surpasses Halo 3.However, online is pretty much all it has, so that isn't fair.

Have you ever played any other online FPS games? I'm guessing not because there were games released on the PC almost 10 years with better online options. And when you compare the online to games on the 360, it is a joke. The Wii offers simple and fun online, but nothing near what the 360 offers. That is why I said if you wanted a game like Halo, you bought the wrong system.
What franchise are you suggesting? The only games that I think are similar to Halo are only in the 360.
We need a new Nintendo FPS.

A) you don't need online to be a great shooter multiplayer or otherwise and B) whywould the Wii not get quality FPS? That just seems like a presumptuous statemtn. I know it's a stock answer but it holds water: MP3 and MoH are great FPS games and no doubt more are onthe way. I would totally bet on CoD 5 coming out on Wii and I'm sure there are one or two other shooters on there way we probably don't know about.
Change the title to Gears of War of Wii then where talking. Halo series is just so bleh.
unfortunetly theres nothing in the market or announced that really looks like its going to give the Wii a high quality FPS feel to it. at this point im a little currious if the wii can even handle the controlls that feel perfect (halo/resistance/cod4) nailed how a FPS should feel IMHO. while metroid did a good job at pointing at the right dirrection, its far from what i was expecting from the Wii.peeps keep pointing to MOH...so i might check it out.
The only GOOD thing about Halo is online and the Wii online isn't good...

There will never be a decent FPS on the Wii because the devs who are in charge of making shooter games are lousy at it, I hope Retro studios makes a online FPS that at least compares to Halo 3.

[/QUOTE] I never said the Wii won't or can't get good shooters, but if you want shooters go buy an 360 or PS3. Metroid Prime 3 is not a shooter, it's an adventure game. MOH:H2 is a fun game no doubt, but it's a joke compared to Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3, both offline and online. The TC was asking about Halo 3, the most popular console online multiplayer game of all time. We will never get a game that is near what Halo 3 offers because the online system doesn't allow it. EA has shown that we can avoid friend codes with MOH:H2 but the lack of a headset completely ruins the experience.
