Guitar Hero 3 Expansions

I haven't seen this on the boards yet, so I thought I'd start a discussion.According to both IGN and EGM, Activision is currently working on an expansion to GH3 based on Aerosmith. Supposedly the band is involved in the project. Not only that but EGM says that two more GH3 expansions are currently in development. And according to them, ''one may star a group that rocks in mysterious ways''. Now I assume they are talking about U2.And this is all on top of GH4. What do you guys think? I'm really excited but I hope they expand the series a bit more. If these are just more song packs I may be dissapointed. Not much has changed since the first game.Guitar Hero 3 Expansions
link?either way all i want is for DLC with GH4 on wiiGuitar Hero 3 Expansions

Man they are rushing the guitar hero games andreleasing them so fast. its like a new one every 6 months.
i don't want any GH4 .... dude it's like for Gran Turismo 5 on the ps3... once you've reached the top, you just sold millions of copies on a 115$ value box .... will people buy an other 100$ game 2 years later ???.... you have reached the top, you have a very strong platform, a strong base where you can had any song on it, making expansion packs is just the right way to threat the customers, not make them pay an other 100$ (as long as they are worth it, not like rock the 80s)
I'd like to see Rock Band on the Wii, that would be cool. I am getting GHIII for the Wii when my relatives come back from vacation, so I'd spend an extra couple bucks for some awesome songs.
link or never happened
Listen to this podcast: http://wii.ign.com/articles/845/845204p1.htmlThey mention the Aerosmith expansion somewhere in there.I can't give you a link to EGM, it's a magazine so go buy it. But I'll give you a quote of what they said:''Rock Band may have more instruments, but Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock totally shreds it when it comes to sales. That's why publisher Activision is keen to kick out multiple sequels this year. We already know GH4 is on its way (as well as a game based on the band Aerosmith), but I'm hearing two more Guitar Hero titles are also in the works, bringing GH3's sequel count to four. And one may star a group that rocks in mysterious way.''GH4 and the Aerosmith expansion to GH3 are basically confirmed but the other two are rumored and may never see the light of day.
I heard about this already. it sounds interesting but i really dont care becasue its being talked about as if its guitar hero with just alittle more. Im not going to pay another 50 dollars to play with aerosmaith and like 10 more songs. Ill wait for guitar hero 4. It sounds just like the crappiness that is guitar hero: rock the 80s
