do you buy vc games if you already own t ...

i got like 35 vc games, 30 of which i already own. call me crazy, call me lazy, but i think its kinda stupid unplugin cables and cords and breakin out old systems. i mean the heck with tryin to wedge a nes between the wii and 360 everytime i want to play super mario bros. not to mention between 2 next-gen consoles and 3 last gen systems (including my gamecube, gotta have my gameboy player) im just out of electric outlets and av/componet inputs. so what do you think, is it stupid to buy a vc game you already own?do you buy vc games if you already own t ...
No. I don't buy VC games period for various reasons but if I did I'd only buy games that I didn't already have. Don't like paying twice for something. I take very good care of my stuff so all my old games and cartridges still work the way they're supposed to. If one of my games were to stop working, I'd re-buy it on ebay long before I'd buy it on VC (if it was available). I'm a purist in that respect.do you buy vc games if you already own t ...
I am kinda in the same boat, there are some games I really want to play that are on N64 that I could buy right now but I like the fact that everything can be on my Wii.
I own some of them but I have an excuse. My NES is broken. I sold my SNES (terrible mistake). I bought a new N64 controller because my old ones were broken and still I did buy some N64 games. My Sega Genesis is still ok. I never owned a Turbografx and a Neo Geo. I own 20 VC games.
I buy em so i don't have to dig out my nes all the time to play the classics.
I never personally owned a NES, SNES, TG-16, N64, or Neo Geo so most of my purchases are not repeats.I DID rebuy one game for the Genesis but it's about convenience rather the practicality. Is buying a game over practical? No it means you got suckered to buy the same thing twice and the company has fun pointing and laughing at you. It's a waste all the way around. Is it easier? Yeah.
No, I'm not that lazy.
I've no old system (NES,SNES,N64,TG-16,NeoG) so nobut i did own Super Mario 64 DS and i've buy Super Mario 64 on the VC cuz it is too much fun
yes... only the ones i reeeeaaalllyyyy like.
Yes, it's worth it since all my old game take up so much room. I can store the original cartridges away, keeping out the ones not available on VC, like Goldeneye, Shadows of the Empire, ect.. It's just far more convenient having all my old games on one console.
Nope. I still own a SNES and I still have Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World on it so I haven't bought those games on the VC and I never will. Unless my SNES dies or the cartridges give out.
I've bought a few that I own on my SNES. Its just more convenient to play them on my Wii.
Yes, But that is only because most of my older systems are about 8 hours away from me. Plus i really like having all of my games on one system and i usually only buy VC titles that i really really like.
Yea i bought games i already owned, i just couldn't be bothered setting up the old system to play one game.
I haven't bought any VC games that I already own yet. But I probably will buy some N64 ones because my only first party controller has a broken analog stick.
No, that would be a terrible waste of money, at least to me. I would much rather play the game on the original system and controller. If I have an old game that doesn't really work than that's a different story. For me, VC is for games I missed out on, and for systems I didn't own.
No, i think that'd be pretty pointless.
No, I'm not that lazy.
i am!
I only own one VC game. When I heard about the idea of VC downloads, I was stoked, mostly because older systems tend to get most of my attention. Now that I have Wii and have checked out the games available on VC, I'm pretty disappointed. Granted, I still have every system I own hooked up (takes up my whole bookcase...books moved to the floor:( ) but the game options are very limited in 'great' games. With a few exceptions, I could find most of the NES, SNES, Genesis games on VC at a yard sale for like $4, half of what it costs to download.Even if they released some of the better platformer, action or RPG games, I just can't see myself paying for a game I already own.Actually...I'd buy PLOK, Earthbound and Sunset Riders again.
If I was made of money I would but I'm not. It would be very convenient though.
