yes. it can. rtfm.
Cool, so what are the contols for it without the guitar?
I know green is B, red is down, yellow is A, and I think the others are the plus and minus. Seriously though, it's right in the manual. First page. The manual is a short read and will help you out a lot!One thing that isn't in the manual that has been puzzling me, is the expansion port on the guitar. Check it out. It looks like a phone or CAT5 jack. If anyone knows why this would be included or wants to speculate, I'm all ears!
The phone jack on you are talking about was on the GH2 360 controller too (and probably the GH3 one too, but I haven't seen one so I don't know) and I think it has allways been completely unexplained as to what it is there for.
I have just done some research on google, and it is on the PS3 one too. I haven't been able to find any acurate sources, but all the speculation on forums is that it is for a pedal to be connected to it.
Yeah most people think it's for some kind of effects pedal/whammy pedal addition, a whammy could be very useful especially for getting super high scores.
Yeah the only thing the manual says about the expansion port is that it could be used for future expansions and that you shouldn't plug a phone jack in it.
So it's more or less there for ''options''...I'm cool with that. I'm assuming they at least have ideas of what it will eventually house (or not house, as the case may be).I had somehow disillusioned myself to think that just maybe it could used to move the controller across platforms. It would certainly make the production much more friendly and would increase the worth to the consumers. They wouldn't really be cannabalizing too many sales because most people won't be buyingcontrollers for multiple systems...Oh well. I can dream.
if you take apart the guitar it is labeled pedal on the inside (void warranty)
