Best Metroid Prime
What is your favourite? Mine is prime 3, though i haven't played prime 2.Best Metroid Prime

This might be the hardest question I could ever have to answer. But For me it's Metroid Prime. It's my ALL TIME favorite game ever. Followed closely by 2 and 3.
I have only played prime 3 and hunters, so i cant really vote.
Its between 3 and 1 but i definitly liked 1 way better, it felt way bigger and more, explorer-like than MP3. It just felt really open and I liked that a lot, and you were alone more often and you could take in all of the landscape.

I am so ticked off right now.
I went to the nsider tech support forums for my Wii. When i posted guess what i found out. I am a new member when i had been there for a year. I had 1,456 posts 22 pages worth of posts, and i had nearly 100 PM's. It is all gone now cause there redoing there site, unbeliavable. Did this happen to any other people here ?I am so ticked off right now.

I noticed that while playing vc games or on the internet channel the wii vent thing isn't on. If I play them for along time will my wii overheat :( or is it just my wiiOverheat

That's just speculation. People see Brawl is coming out so they think Nintendo will release the original SSB to hype it a bit like they did with Metroid Prime. If we don't see SSB before Brawl comes out then it might be a long wait for the game.any word on SSB for the Vc

I would take some games for the N64... what they have like 10 now? Is that all that system ever produced? I'm sick of adding more consoles and not providing the good 3rd party games for the consoles they already have. It's all about money and we will see 3-4 of the cheapest games brought to the console a week, with the occasional 1st party title someone actually wants to make it look like a good service. I haven't bothered with the VC in months.

I think the next consoles should be both Sega Master System and Sega CD. I never played at the SMS. I'm interested on the original Phantasy Star. As for Sega CD, bring Sonic CD and the Lunar games. Sega Saturn has a chance to be it. I'd like to see the original NiGHTS into Dreams.

I honestly can't seem to comprehend why everyone loves SMG so much. It's basically a really rally bad version of n64 but with better graphics.I think the galaxy portion of the game with the gravity and planets takes away from the game, not offers it more.Though Prime3 didn't wow me at first (especially since I was a diehard mp1 fan) I eventually found a way to comfortably aim properly and fire accurately and rapidly.As a tip to beginners, TURN OFF HUD LAG IN OPTIONS. It will make your game experience a heck of a lot better. I couldn't aim properly in advanced mode with it on, and I couldn't turn fast enough in normal mode, so I couldn't find a balance til I found out how to turn off the HUD lag.
As a huge Metroid Prime fan ever since the Gamecube masterpeice, I slightly head towards that. SMG is still an amazing game, it's really close but it's more popular.

Galaxy, but only because co-star works so well with my inexperienced video game family. Easier to play SMG and not get yelled at as they can join in or vice versa.
MP3 all the way. Im having fun with galaxy,but I had more fun with MP3. Proboly because it had a story and I enjoy games with story more. PLus I like the Voice acting in prime I hope they keep it for the next game.

It's kind of hard to say. Metriod is a action sci-shooter. And Mario is adventure game that is a colorful world for kids. But I will have to say BOTH. Because they are two great games and they both have great scores from gaming magazines and gaming websites. And you can say I like Samus and Mario.

It's kind of hard to say. Metriod is a action sci-shooter. And Mario is adventure game that is a colorful world for kids. But I will have to say BOTH. Because they are two great games and they both have great scores from gaming magazines and gaming websites. And you can say I like Samus and Mario.
Pilot wings?
anybody else remember pilot wings, and remember that it was a great game? who else wants a pilot wings revival on wii? Nintendo has almost every other genre down exept flight simulator, and pilot wings was a really fun one. And if we cant get a new one, cant we at least have Pilot Wings 64 on the VC?
GC memory card questions

They knew the first one wouldn't sell and that didn't stop them. I know it's crazy but some developers are in the business for more than just the money. If this weren't true, they wouldn't have put so much into Z-Dub in the first place.

I'm can't really answer that but from personal experience it would be 50% because my first one had disk read errors but then the second one has been perfect all along. :D2. It depends on the game. Red Steel can really lag on me sometimes but games like Super Mario Galaxy barely lags.3. There's the disk read error and there's this error when the (I think) Graphics card starts to ware/wear (I don't know :D)out and starts to cause graphical problems. There's probally more but I haven't really heard of them.4. I was playing a gamecube game and i pulled on the cable (oops... :D) and the Wii tipped of a about half a meter high table. I got an error message upon impact with the ground. But a quick turn off and on and reload the disk and things were working perfectly. So I guess it is. :D5. Some shops (If you live in Australia) such as Dick Smith (could be worldwide but I don't know) they offer somehting where you pay them an extra AUS$50 and you get a 3 year warrenty but that depends from shop to shop but most shops probally wouldn't offer this.6. Yep, the first console was stuffed from when I got it, second console is working fine with no problems. :D7. If i'm right about the whole graphics starting to screw up I guess that's a early sign of defection but other then that, it's stuffed form when you first buy it. But I've heard a few cases where having WiiConnect24 on 24/7 can cause overheating problems but I can't 100% confirm that.Those questions weren't easy!!! :D

wii does have a few bugs with it . for me i hear this sound in the disc drink its like clunk cliunk for like 1 min and they it says disc read error . when i put in the game agian then it works fine . also some times i get these colour green dots that go on the screen for a few means. its not stuck pixels cus i use a Tube tv with dont have pixels .

I'm can't really answer that but from personal experience it would be 50% because my first one had disk read errors but then the second one has been perfect all along. :D2. It depends on the game. Red Steel can really lag on me sometimes but games like Super Mario Galaxy barely lags.3. There's the disk read error and there's this error when the (I think) Graphics card starts to ware/wear (I don't know :D)out and starts to cause graphical problems. wii does have a few bugs with it . for me i hear this sound in the disc drink its like clunk cliunk for like 1 min and they it says disc read error . when i put in the game agian then it works fine . also some times i get these colour green dots that go on the screen for a few means. its not stuck pixels cus i use a Tube tv with dont have pixels .

Those are all good. Excite Truck is fun, though I wouldn't pay the 50 dollar price tag for it. I'd wait til it drops to 30 or lower. But those games you said are good, and I own them plus Red Steel. If you want to rent Red Steel, you should. But I wouldn't reccomend dropping 50 bucks on it, even though I love the game.
I think SSX Blur is going to be a lot of fun.

If each store got twenty Wii's, it isn't like they wouldn't be bought.
I fount mine on eBay, around 300-380 with shipping for most, that is the best bet you have unless you want to stake out a store untill they randomly get two or three in a shipment.
Also... Just because someone is dissapointed in Nintendo not shipping enough for no reason does not mean that person has no life outside of consoles. Wow. :roll:

I've been patiently waiting since a week or two after lauch. They really have undershipped Canada from the looks of things, even more so then our southern neighbors. I'm just waiting, probably pick on up in march sometime. Would be nice to get one this month but from the looks of things, it is not going to happen. No reason to be mad at nintendo, they are shipping/selling as much as they have and more then the competition in the same time frame.
why do you think you can't get one......it is a poopular system that is tons of funnothing against 360.....but if you can only get one system, wait for the Wii360 is an amazing system that I am planning on getting later this year...but if you are planning on getting both....get the 360 until the Wii comes out, then you will have the 2 best systems out there!!!

I own SMG, and love it alot, it's great playing and great looking. I think it was deserving of GOTY because of it's classical goodness. Just timeless, simple fun. That'll never get old.

My reaction was that I was a little surprised, just becuase people usually go for the multiplayer, intense, realisticly gritty graphics, games. I own SMG, and love it alot, it's great playing and great looking. I think it was deserving of GOTY because of it's classical goodness. Just timeless, simple fun. That'll never get old.

When you launch the title, the system intentionally turns off all Wii functionality in order to give the user a perfect gamecube experience. Only the Game Boy Advance cable accessory works on the Wii though, and so do most third party Gamecube controllers.

I more fleshed out more realistic looking rpg would be nice actually.

Sorry to say it isn't going to happen. Red, blue, gold and silver were good. After that there was so many pokemon you couldn't possibly win. I caught them all on blue and red And I got close on gold (My cousin borrowed silver and never gave it back.) My thoughts are the only way there will be another decent pokemon is if they cut out all the extra pokemon and just keep it to a low number. Also if they make a decent online (like almost everyoneelse said.)
They don't make good Pokemon games because they know the horrible ones sell just as well. They use this same thought process with the Mario Party games.

imagine a mario game running around fields encountering pokemon, catching them, battling gyms and junk. thats my idea of a good pokemon, not where you steal it and at one point there is nothing left to do when you finish it but do nothing. honestly, i dont think it will happen. sometimes it feels like the best games, that would be a great, common, easy to think of idea, will not be made. maybe on another planet such good things are made.

Alright... so I got out the old SNES and played Mario RPG and Final Fantasy 3 last week, and suddenly it dawned on me that new RPGs are so much shorter and simpler than the old. This kind of sucks. We've lost all of the bonus hours of fun game play and actually hidden side quests for a decent- graphics short and straight forward RPG. This isn't only in the turn-based section either~ look at the Zeldas! The old ones were 10x better and a lot more challenging. Is this just me or have RPGs gone down hill since SNES (except for graphics of coarse). What RPG games are you looking for for VC?me= Majora's Mask, FinalFantasy3, Pokemon (if they ever bring out GB games, will they?), and Mario RPGand, one quick question... does nintendo still have the rights to the old RARE games like Donkey Kong Country and the old Final Fantasies?The RPG Scam

They've gotten easier, but the fact that you're older and more educated helps as well.

I don't know dude, I remember there being a helluva lot of extra stuff to do in Kingdom Hearts 1 %26 2, and in FF10. But, you are right and wrong. Right that some games maybe don't have as much, but do you consider that maybe you don't want to put in all of the time that you used to for games.
Also to your other question, Square-Enix owns Final Fantasy and Nintendo owns all Donkey Kong and Starfox Characters.

Final Fantasy games have definetly gone down the tubes. I used to own them all, but I got rid of my FF9, and FFXII because neither game appealed to me (story or character wise), and the use of mini-games to increase the gameplay time drove me nuts. I don't want to spend hours using a chocobo to dig up pictures so I can find Ragnarok. FFX had the same mini-game problem, but the story was interesting and the characters caught my attention enough to keep me into the game. Codebreaker took care of the mini-game problem (haha, no more dodging lightning bolts until my thumbs fall off). While FFX, FF7, and FF8 aren't going to be able to compete with FF4 and FF6 they are still great games.My RPG collection hasn't grown by much this last year. Some of the best RPGs out of the last few years have been limited to the Xenogears (horrible gameplay, but love the story and characters), and Oblivion GoTY Edition (my only PS3 game). Everything else I have purchased last year included Witcher, and Neverwinter Nights 2 for the PC. I keep hoping Shining Force will go back to its SRPG roots, and Shining in the Darkness type play.

zelda twighlight princess was really long for me, but it is true i did not feel like doing those side quest, they did not seem worth it while _orcarina of time_ had swords or extra magic... to collect from those side quest

Ok so I got got the 120th star as mario and then I was expecting something cool to happen and nothing did so then I beat Bowser again and it told me I could play as Luigi so I thought that was col bu then I figured out that you have to get 120 stars as Luigi again so I did that beat Bowser for the 4th time and then it said Grand Finale Galaxy unlocked so I thought that was cool I spent like half an hour trying to find it but I eventually found it when to it expecting so really cool level then went WTF. It sucks so much like is nintendo on drugs, all you do is find 100 purple coins in the first place and their not hard to find. WTF nintendoAngry at SMG (spoilers)

It wouldn't surprise me if they did port DMC3 and budget-price it like they did RE4. Would give them something of at least good quality to offer Wii owners after they finish porting Okami over. (unlike all the other **** PS2 ports by other companies)

Devil may cry is all about controls..So how in the name of god are you supossed to slash your enemy,then jump back, jump to right, shoot it in air and after that double jump from the wall above your enemy and slice it with your sword and then quickly avoid enemy attacks and try shoot it at same time with wii controller?

It wouldn't surprise me if they did port DMC3 and budget-price it like they did RE4. Would give them something of at least good quality to offer Wii owners after they finish porting Okami over. (unlike all the other **** PS2 ports by other companies)

It's more like a beginning to see all Rare games on VC. That's what I want to see. A non-exclusivity contract to see all Rare games on VC. Goldeneye was good when it was offline and played on multiplayer with a bunch of friends. Goldeneye on XBLA would kill it.

Portal $20 for the PC. It's a bit of a Mystery/Puzzle FPS This game would be great with the Wii control. Any game like this on the Wii would have to be successful imo.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Free for the PC. Only has a multi-player. The multi-player is great. It is a WWII FPS Nazi vs Allies game. If a company combined some of the best mods and worked in a Single-Player, this game would have to be a best seller.Tribes: Vengeance $20 for the PC. Sci-Fi FPS. For alot of the Halo lovers, this game would be a good remedy. Besides the fact that it isn't a copy of Halo, as that Starsiege Tribes was out before it, perhaps Halo copied abit from it.Armored Core For about every platform but the Wii. Essentially you are mercenary inside a giant robot. You go around doing whatever must be done to earn money to make your robot a lethal weapon. Portal $20 for the PC. It's a bit of a Mystery/Puzzle FPS This game would be great with the Wii control. Any game like this on the Wii would have to be successful imo.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Free for the PC. Only has a multi-player. The multi-player is great. It is a WWII FPS Nazi vs Allies game. If a company combined some of the best mods and worked in a Single-Player, this game would have to be a best seller.Tribes: Vengeance $20 for the PC. Sci-Fi FPS. For alot of the Halo lovers, this game would be a good remedy. Besides the fact that it isn't a copy of Halo, as that Starsiege Tribes was out before it, perhaps Halo copied abit from it.Armored Core For about every platform but the Wii. Essentially you are mercenary inside a giant robot. You go around doing whatever must be done to earn money to make your robot a lethal weapon. You explore to solve puzzles and solve mysteries in essence.I just put a few I can think of. Really, I am unsure that any game of such fields will be made, with any great quality. Unfortunately for the Wii. If it doesn't get some games to appeal to the core Xbox, PS, and PC crowds, unless the Wii can pull out a stunt for it's next console, perhaps the competitors will get the other hand. Why pay $50 for a Wii-port when you can getthem on the PC for $20 or less with better graphics and control that is just as good.

...and burn your copy of the game. Either that or just stay don't play online.Now, let me explain what I mean. I've enjoyed Mario Strikers for the 6 months it's been out. It takes skill to be good and some luck to be great. And it only took 2-3 months for people to start ruining the game for everybody else. The first few months were fun. People really hadn't mastered all the skills and everybody was just shooting to their hearts content. Slowly but surely, the cheap tactics worked their way in. The deke-goals with toad, boo, dry bones, Waluigi, Peach, or Princess. The shot off of the wall behind the goal to pop up on the other side to shoot it in. The deke to draw kritter away and then pass for an easy score. The weak shot/pass right over kritters head that he just can't seem to stop EVER. While all of these things are certainly valid parts of strategy (not really), using only these things makes the game ridiculously boring and mundane for those of us who were hoping to play people who actually possess skill.Now don't get me wrong. I hate to lose. But whenever that loss is to somebody who takes the time to figure out my habits, exploit them, and take advantage of them, I feel good. I was bested and outmatched. That player found a way to take away what I do best. What's more, he managed to find a way to continuously get a shot off when I did my best to keep him from doing so. It might have been a defensive match where neither one of us took too many shots because we kept stealing the ball...something that takes actual skill. And I would hope that the people who I face and defeat would be able to appreciate the fact that I played a straight up game.But as for these losers who pick mostly boo or dry bones and turn what was supposed to be something comparable to a soccer game into a cheap Nintendo version of tag...these losers can do something...something that I can't write on this forum. If I wanted to just play tag running after your character, we can lose about 95% of the graphic presentation, throw away the characters, jump on a flash game, and have our 8-bit icons try to catch each other. That's what these BS tactics boil down to. Any resemblance that this already chancy game had to an actual match of skill is thrown out the window.If you play straight up, you know what I'm talking about. This is the only game that my little brother is better than me at. Why? He has two damn Boo's and a Drybones and DK (the team I see quite frequently online with power characters switched around and the amount of DB's and Boos switched around)
I also hate that little instant chip in shot people do to start off a match... it's like, ''WTF am I gonna do about that?''
I've always though we should also be able to choose between different goalies...
